HUMMY

Climate change is an existential threat for everyone - including hummingbirds. This game was designed to help homeowners to better assist hummingbirds on migration journeys wherein their favorite foods no longer thrive. This game provides users with the most updated USDA zoning map, so that they can be informed about what species to plant for their micro feathered friends.

The game starts out with the most common method of feeding hummingbirds: liquid feed. Once a critical mass is had with feeders, users are directed to a more holistic and sustainable approach: native plant species. After equilibrium is reached, the game provides other ways to get involved with helping hummingbirds navigate climate change and directs them to the Audobon Society of California.
