THE LIFE YARD
The Green Jacket Shoal is a resting place for many a wayward ship, it’s shallow waters swallowing them whole. In their hallowed bodies, life teams. It is not a graveyard - it is a life yard.
As it sits now, this amazing system goes unnoticed. This public park recreates our bonds with underwater life by cutting the earth and bringing water to us. It also extends outward, using reclaimed concrete to make a psuedo - reef surrounding the ship where in mollusks and fish take residence.
